Two Races in One

School Mile - Grades 4 and up
Open Mile - general participation

This event is designed to encourage participation by young athletes, and offer established runners a fast outdoor mile!

The event's races are run on a completely closed course on The Boulevard beside Quidi Vidi, starting near the Bandstand and finishing just past the bridge at the bottom of the Lake. Runners will depart the start in waves according to their pace or grade so everyone will get a good start.

Chip timing, Open age group and School awards, and a unique race await you!

School Mile Registration

Schools can register and pay for a list of students OR students can register individually. Click the registration menu item above for individual registration.

Students of schools registered with the NLAA do not require a day permit. Any other student will need to pay the day permit fee of $1.
