Text Box: MEWS 8k 2009 The course is the same as the new route established last year. It begins on Mundy Pond Road near the Mews Centre, turns right onto Pearce, right onto Blackmarsh, right onto Melville Place, right back onto Blackmarsh, right onto Blackler, right onto Mundy Pond, and then left onto Ropewalk Lane. The race then follows the traditional route turning right onto Empire Avenue and continuing along Empire all the way to Kingsbridge Road. The course manoeuvres through the Kingsbridge/Circular/Empire intersection and onto Lake Avenue, and then Clancey Drive to finish near the Boathouse at Quidi Vidi.
